At TKB Bespoke Kitchens, great kitchen design is about creating a space that feels considered, practical and tailored to the home it sits within. This recent project in Marple, Stockport focused on delivering a clean, cohesive kitchen. All completed with full-height cabinetry and a striking colour scheme that balances warmth with a modern style.
Designed Around Height and Storage
The customer wanted a kitchen that made full use of their high ceilings while keeping the overall look seamless and uncluttered. Storage was a key priority, so we designed fully built-in units running to ceiling height, creating a strong architectural feel while maximising usable space.
By extending the cabinetry upwards, the kitchen feels more integrated into the room itself, removing visual gaps and giving a premium, fitted appearance throughout.
A Colour Scheme That Works Together
Colour played a big part in bringing this kitchen to life. The customer chose a lovely green island as the focal point of the room, paired with sage green cabinetry around the main kitchen area.
The combination creates contrast without overpowering the space. The island stands out as a feature, while the softer sage tones keep the overall design calm, balanced and timeless.
Premium Quartz Finishing Touches
To complete the look, we installed Excarvo Premium quartz worktops, chosen for both durability and visual impact. The quartz surface ties the entire scheme together, adding a refined finish while providing a practical, hard-wearing workspace suited to everyday use.

The Result in Stockport
The finished kitchen feels spacious, elegant and highly functional. Full-height cabinetry delivers hidden storage. The green tones add personality to the kitchen. Then the quartz worktops provide a clean, luxurious finish.
