Our workshop is in Cadishead, inside Greater Manchester and half an hour from the city centre. We design, make and fit kitchens for homes across the city and its suburbs, from Chorlton, Didsbury and Whalley Range to Sale, Urmston, Worsley and Prestwich.

Manchester's houses are as varied as its districts. South of the centre, Chorlton, Didsbury, Whalley Range and Fallowfield are Victorian and Edwardian: red-brick villas, bay-fronted terraces and semis with tall ceilings, deep rear rooms and kitchens that often sit in a narrow return. West and north, Sale, Urmston, Stretford, Worsley, Monton and Prestwich are largely inter-war semis and detached houses where opening the kitchen into the dining room is the usual move. In the centre, Ancoats, Castlefield and Salford Quays are apartments and converted mills, where the kitchen is one wall of the living space and every centimetre has to work.
Each needs something different, which is why every kitchen we make starts as a blank sheet. We measure the room ourselves, draw around the architecture and build the cabinets to the millimetre in our workshop, so an alcove, a chimney breast or an apartment's service riser becomes part of the design rather than a problem to hide.

We are not a showroom with a fitting team somewhere else. The workshop is in Cadishead, on the Salford side of the Manchester Ship Canal, and the people who build your cabinets are the people who fit them. The first visit is at your home, so we can see the room, the light and how it is used. Design and 3D visuals follow, and you are welcome at the studio by appointment to see finishes and handle samples.
Every cabinet is made in that same workshop and fitted by our own team. If a drawer front needs adjusting a month after the fit, the people who built it come back. There is no subcontracted installer and no call centre in between.
If you are extending, bring us in before the drawings are final. Positions for the island, sink and extraction affect steels and glazing, and settling them on paper saves changes on site. We are used to working alongside Manchester builders.
A Manchester kitchen, properly made
Our recent work around the city shows the range. In Marple, on the eastern edge of Greater Manchester, we ran fully built-in units to ceiling height under tall ceilings, turning storage into architecture. Read the Marple project. In Altrincham we built a fitted reception for a dental practice in grained indigo blue with oak accents, hidden cable management and a walk-through hatch, which is the same discipline we bring to a kitchen. In a Chorlton terrace that discipline means sightlines, pale finishes and tall storage on a single wall so a long narrow room reads wider than it is. In a Worsley detached it means an island people can gather round and a run of tall units that uses the ceiling. In a Quays apartment it means one wall doing the work of a whole room.
Traditional, contemporary, farmhouse or modern, the method is the same: understand the room, design around the people, then build it by hand.
